Raz Luca Promoted to Vice President, Media
Raz Luca is now Vice President, Media.
“Many of Trampoline’s clients turned to us in 2020 to accelerate changes in digital communication and identify more flexible and data driven approaches to media for their campaigns,” said Leslie Gascoigne, President of Trampoline. “Since joining our team, Raz has been a hands-on leader, working with his team to deliver the best solutions to our clients in 2020 with exciting plans in place for the year to come.”
Luca joined Trampoline three years ago as Media Director. He has more than a decade of diverse agency experience. Before joining Trampoline, Luca was Associate Director of Strategy with OMD Toronto, where he led media planning and buying assignments for Infiniti and Tourism Nova Scotia. Prior to that, he worked for Initiative on multi-channel media plans across various clients including Bose and H&M with a specific focus on evolving their digital footprints across Canada. This was highlighted with his participation on the H&M Canadian e-commerce launch team in 2016.
He began his marketing and media career by working in progressively more senior roles with MediaCom, where his client roster included various brands across the P&G portfolio and saw him activate unique branded content activations on Canadian Idol as well as the inception of the Gillette Drafted TV Show. It was at this time that he also found his passion for automotive through his work on Volkswagen across both brand and retail efforts.
“Trampoline’s clients enjoy Raz’s drive for excellence, designing and overseeing the kinds of media campaigns that make a positive difference in achieving their objectives,” added Gascoigne.
Luca holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University. Born in Romania, he emigrated to Canada as a child with his family. He was identified by Strategy in 2010 as one of Canada’s Next Media Stars because of his passion to leverage seamless brand integration across multiple media channels.
Part of this promotion will see Luca join the agency’s executive team, including co-owners Leslie and Mark Gascoigne (CEO), Ian Bezanson (Digital/Technology), Rob Batherson (Public Relations), and Adam Bates (Finance).
