Trampoline Branding appoints new Creative Director, hires Account Supervisor, and recruits for creative team.

Trampoline Branding is thrilled to announce the promotion of Rachel Wearing to Creative Director. Rachel joins veteran Creative Director, Jeff Simpson, as the new co-heads of Trampoline’s award-winning creative department.

A graduate of Mount Allison University, Rachel received an Advertising Copywriting post-graduate certificate from Humber College in Toronto before launching her career in Canada’s largest advertising market. Since returning home to Halifax and joining Trampoline in 2021, Rachel has excelled in her chosen craft and proven to be an indispensable collaborator and natural leader with co-workers and clients alike.

“Over our twenty-year history, we’ve had great success with a co-Creative Director structure and Rachel is more than ready for this role,” says President Leslie Gascoigne. “She and Jeff have already shown to be a great creative partnership, and we’re excited to see them lead the department with the same energy and success as a management team.”

The duo heads a creative department that has been on a roll recently. Picking up a half dozen Ice Awards in 2023 as well as having winning work published in the Applied Arts and Communication Arts awards annuals in 2023 and 2024.

Jeff and Rachel are taking over the helm from previous department head Shawn King, who will be moving on from Trampoline later this month.

“We’d like to thank Shawn for a great couple of years at Trampoline,” says CEO Mark Gascoigne. “He helped our creative department realize its full potential and left an even stronger agency than the one he found.”

New Addition to the team

Later this month, Trampoline is excited to welcome Sarah Densmore, ten-year veteran of the Halifax advertising scene, as an Account Supervisor.

“Sarah’s experience and talent make her a great fit for our team,” says Director of Client Service, Rowan Eva. “With our continued growth and increased demand from new and existing clients, we’re thrilled to have her on board.”
