The word conversation has become synonymous with social media. Appropriately so, as it encapsulates one of its most useful features for companies— the ability to engage in two-way communication with your audience.
eMarketer cites that the primary benefits to using social media to leverage your brand are customer engagement, direct customer communications and speed of feedback/results. Consider your followers to be a dedicated focus group. Get to know them. See what your audience has in common (besides loyalty to your brand, of course).
